Help needed in The Magic of Zelda

I have finished level 3 and am unable to find level 4. I am assuming I need the raft, any suggestions as to where I'll find it? Also I need the directions through the lost woods maze.

If you've chosen not to cheat, I have no idea.
If you haven't yet but would, the L3 cheat is "never" in all capitals.
Maze directions? I don't have a clue.
