I have rules. Haloween is only for october. not earlier, not later. Thanksgiving is only for November. not earlier, or later. Christmas is only for december. not... well, you get the point. Of course, to shopping malls, christmas is for november, there's no such thing as thanksgiving, and Haloween is for september. those damn shopping malls. ¬_¬

Early December. That's it, if there are decorations.

Well, my dad has already put up christmas lights on our house. But we don't get our tree untill the second week of chritmas.

Well, we're putting up the lights as I type this, but the tree won't be going up for another week or two. So I voted the second half of November, since that's when we usually start.

We have our outdoor lights up on the trees and shrubs, but we're waiting until the first weekend of December to put up the tree (that's only about a week and a few days away).

The great thing is, my semester ends December 6. I'll have a few finals to write, but at least I won't have to worry about other exams or classes following the Christmas Holiday.

Were pretty lazy, we just switch out the tree and leaving everything else were it is.
Lets see I decreated my house for christmas November 29, 2002. "Come to think of it 2 years ago this day is when we left florida and moved to colorado"

December 24th. ... Did I mention I was Jewish?

EDIT: For those of you who absolutely need to know, ... I was being sarcastic.

Jewish. For channukah, though, we don't decorate much, just a menorah, and for the family party, we don't put up decorations until the morning of the party. Then again, decorations only consist of a "Happy Channukah!" banner that doesn't come down until Passover. You think I'm joking but I'm not.

Oh dear lord, it's the same thing in our house. >_< We don't have to put up our Channukah banner, because we still have last year's up. :odd: (Procrastination pays. Huh?)

I don't know. Why go through all the trouble? I don't plan on decorating at all.

Wow, so many of you do it late! I expected you all to do it mega early.
In the UK right now there was a house covered in lights - I mean literraly you couldn't see the bricks- on the 10th of november!
Anyone seen any earlier than that?

Put up lights in the week before Christmas, buy the tree on the 23rd or 24th. Always decorate the tree on the 24th.

I used to start a few days into December, but after I moved away from home, I'd be surprised if I ever decorate again :shrugs:
