I'm going to my girlfriend's Thanksgiving dinner. I want to bring something to leave a good impression, but I'm not sure what. Any suggestions?

seriously, i'd say a nice wine would be a good choice. a good red or white one, or a nice bottle of champagne would make a good impression.

Well, dress nicely, always be polite, (Wear a smile. Clothes help too. :p ) As for what food you could bring, well, they may already have food all prepared, and to bring something else always stands the chance of being an insult. A wine would probably be a good idea, as Manny suggested. Luck, man. :)

Cranberries! I'm english so I don't do thanksgiving, but if I did, I'd want cranberries!
Or cranberry wine. *Drooool*. Has anyone ever tried that?

Hm, dressing nicely sounds like a good idea. And driving the girlfriend over to the parent's house in one piece always leaves a good impression. I would bring wine, except for the fact I am only 18. Perhaps some pecan or pumpkin pie? Mmm. pie (http://www.weebl.jolt.co.uk/pie.htm).
