INDIO, Calif. A Riverside County jury has convicted a 17-year-old boy for shooting his pregnant girlfriend inside a Palm Desert abortion clinic.
Jeffrey Cameron Fitzhenry faces life in prison after being found guilty yesterday of attempted murder. He shot the 16-year-old girl in the neck in April, leaving her a quadriplegic and her fetus was declared dead several days later.

During trial, the girl testified that Fitzhenry made repeated threats, telling her: "If you take something of mine, I'll take something of yours." She said she never thought he would act on those threats.

Defense attorney Robert Dunn argued that Fitzhenry shot the girl in the heat of passion and should get a lesser charge of attempted voluntary manslaughter.

The jury sided with prosecutors, who argued Fitzhenry made a "cold, calculated judgment" when he took a loaded gun to the clinic "with the intent to commit murder."

His sentencing hearing is scheduled for January 6th.

What a sick fuck. Hey, I wanna save the kid from an abortion, let's murder the person who is carrying it. Dumbass.

He would have made a great father.

Hey that guy is toast (figure of speech) when he gets his sentence hopefully & (and) most likely.

I HAAAATE IT TH@ (THAT) WHEN PEOPLE DO HARM (IF IT STILL IS) IN ANY PLACES!!!

Do not worry now you gotten one o' (of) God's greatest helpers here so I wanna ban abortion and th@ guy shall be caught w/ (with) the maximum sentence I do believe but because of the rules I can't (can not) state what the maximum sentence is but I can tell you it ends in the letter h.

Hello, firegirl.

Retards like that shouldn't be allowed to breed. Infact, there should be officials to follow people around with tasers and zap their crotches to prevent them from getting it on. =o

I agree... people do horrible things for such poor reasons far, far too often. I'm sorry for the poor girl that this happened to, and hope she can still have something to be happy about in the rest of her life.

If he planned in advance, made threats, and carried them out, that's pretty darn cold and calculated; it sounds like at least the jury handled things appropriately. Although it's possible he had emotional problems anyway; if that's the case, then I hope at least that his inprisonment teaches him something.

Darwinism sucks.

Well I agree he is bad but if he can't vote then he should get off scot free, regardless of the crime. Unless you think Wash. et al. were fighting a bad battle and should have been killed in horreble ways for "civil disobedience." And don't forget all those other civil wars and revolutions from disenfranciesed people who appearently should have just gone to jail and been executed for not following the unvoted for laws of the land and obeying and their overlords.
P.S. Yes I know duality isn't always right but what the hey.

the abortion was wrong
the shooting was wrong

simply put, two wrongs don't make it a right, no matter what the circumstances :shakeno:

... O_o Crazy dude. Maybe it was an act of revenge after he realised that abortion was inevitable. Who knows? Still, it is sick.

is it wrong that I find it funny that the kid ended up dying anyway?

Hey, if laughing at dead fetuses is wrong, who wants to be right?
