If you haven't checked it out yet, it looks cool as hell. Go to Google (http://www.google.com) and click on Keyhole from Google (http://www.keyhole.com/index.html?promo=hpp-en-us-1).

And be sure to check out this video (http://toolbar.google.com/keyhole/Zoom_final.wmv), which can be found by clicking Zoom to street level and then See Video.

I just downloaded the free trial, and it's amazing. I was wondering all around my town and into another state. This is great! I'm going to see about getting a subscription to this. Everyone atleast download the trial if you have the specs, it's only 9 MB.

It's kinda cool, but the maps are way old. The school I've been going to for two years hasn't even been built yet on the map, and the WTC site is still just a big dirty pit with bulldozers in it. The Hollywood sign is kind of neat... it's a little hard to see, but you can see a faint shadow that spells out "Hollywood" on the mountain side.

If this was up to date it would be way cooler. Also, if there were more high-res areas. I searched for Mt. Rushmore and couldn't see it.

I could see my house just fine, though.

I haven't tested it out yet, but it's kind of creepy that somebody could just accidentally come across your house like that... this stuff has to be some sort of violation of... something... I don't know.

Interesting find. I'll probably check out the trial later.

There are no maps of australia, that's what turned me away from having a bit of fun with it.

My area is pretty recent. I can see the spot where the huge wood pile was in my yard. Not there anymore. And we disposed of it over the summer.
