As for Eckels, congratulations! Fatherhood is perhaps one of the best professions a man could ever get into. It's hard work, sacrifice, but in the end you will be rewarder....provided you don't screw up your child(as if any parent is capable of not doing that). I personally want to become a father some day, and I hope I can do a great job of it.

But yeah, the wife is pregnant. So far everything seems to be healthy, and it's still early so we dont know anything like what sex it is, yet. We told her parents, I told my grandmother, and I'd be calling my mother to tell her right now, but she's been on the goddamned phone for like three hours...

oh well, her loss. she'll just have to wait.
