Items help???

Hi, im totally new to all of this so plz be patient with me but whnever i put an item on the map it puts it in the top left corner how do i move it??

Press page up/down until you see a rupee icon...click on it & then move your mouse to somewhere you like to place the item...then just click one more time, your item will be placed in the spot where you want it to be...
