Daemon Quest

Quite an original quest I must say (i totally dig these. those basic zelda quests with basic storylines can be boring at times). Unfortunatly the total non-linear gameplay (while good for the most part), has lost me. I need the pick-axe (hammer) to get anywhere, but in order to get it I need the glove which i don't know where it is. I'm also missing the step-ladder to, dunno if i need this to get the glove. If anyone can just clue me in on the where-abouts on just one of those items (step-ladder or glove) it'd help a bunch.
