View Full Version : Can't find dungen 7-10

I'm using 1.93 beta 184 (although I don't hink it makes a difference) and I can't find any dungens past dungen 6 in the 1st.qst. Will someone please hepl? ;)

level 7, blow the whiste at the pond next to the fairy pond near lost woods
level 8, burn a tree a few screens over and up from the start.

And level 9 is in one of the two rocks all the way in the top central area of the map. You'll see two "pile" shaped rocks. Bomb the southern side of the right one. If not, .. the left one! :p

Summary: Level 7 blow the whistle in the pond to the left of the farie pond.
Summary: Level 8 Burn bush a few screens on top of the one from the start.
Summary: Level 9 Two rocks at the top of death mountain bomb the one on the right.
Summary: Level 10 Who told you about this level? Who ever did lied.

um, yes, level 10 dosen't exist, and you should just keep thinking that, and not go looking for it behind the guy that gives you the sword under the grave...

Uhh, b, are you being sarcastic, cause I'm not sure, and I don't want to look for it for nothing. I thought there was a level 10 because in the description for the 182test quest by warlock it say's something about level 11 and it also say's that you don't have to win it to win the game, but if there is a level 11, then there has to be a level 10, unless Warlock doesn't know how to count...

Well 182 test well that is a different story, why dont you go cheat? You know umm go to Zquest editer and look at the last map (before the layering ones.) & *b* what are you talking about?

I was just being a smartass. don't worry, Ovi, there aren't any levels past 9, that I know of. either you read wrong, or somone is leading you astray

I am really really freaked out! I looked through all the quest database for the quest and for the author. In the quest description I get when I open ZC on that quest I get this:"Title: New 1st quest... cheat:zelda Author: Warlock" I got this quest from this site (came with the 1.92 beta 183 zedla classic) so why can't I find anything about it in the quest database!?!

because it obviously hasn't been uploaded yet. there really isn't a need for it, anyway, since it comes with Zelda Classic

BTw, there IS another "area" in ZC 182's test quest. (And higher.) The Dmap hasn't really even been constructed to its fullest, and it has absolutely nothing in its map, .. and doesn't even have a map whatsoever for it. So you're probably wasting your time with this. :-/

It is identical to the original with the same 10 dungeons, plus an elusive 11th dungeon That is a quote from the home page of Zelda Classic. That obviously proves that there is a 10th and a 11th dungen. :tongue: I knew I saw something about the 10th and 11th dungen!

A familiar quest made its way into my head when I saw mention of a level 11...:sweat:

Upon checking the QDB main page, my suspicions were confirmed. Here's more of that quote from that QDB news post, with some slightly important parts bolded:


The very first custom quest ever made, New Quest by Nightmare, has now been re-released after four years for 1.92 Beta 183. It is identical to the original with the same 10 dungeons, plus an elusive 11th dungeon. Can you find it? This dungeon is optional and you can beat the game without it.

See? As said, there are no levels 10 and 11 in the two original quests that come with the game.

As for New Quest...I almost hope you never find level 11...I have very bad memories of that place...it's evil...EVIL, I TELL YOU!!! MOMMY!!! GET IT AWAY FROM ME!!! *runs and hides in the corner, shivering and sobbing uncontrollably*

Yeah, so you may have a point, but are you forgetting the part where they say "the same 10 dungens" which means that although there might not be a 11 dungen, there is a 10th.

They meant the same 10 dungeons that were in New Quest when it was originally released four years ago. Not the original two quests, which have always had 9 apiece. :)
