Half of Screen all messed up

I just downloaded it on my brand new computer. ZC worked on my old one, but now the bottom 2/3 of the screen looks all messed up, and it bumps me right out after watching for 10 seconds. I tried turning down the colors and screen quality, but it doesn't seem to work. Any tips? I've tried to find answers elsewhere but couldn't find them

Try running with the -windowed command line switch (windows version only). I have a similar problem running fullscreen and that fixes it. Of course, you don't get the fun of fullscreen, but that still beats it not running at all.

right clikc the shortcut on your desktop, and after the quotation marks in the 'Tagret:' field, press space and type in -windowed. that might fix your problem

I don't seem to have a shortkut on my desktop for one reason, I unzipped it into a folder and got no shortcut

And I can't find the target field either way, I'm on windows XP, that an issue?

Right click on zelda-w.exe and choose "create shortcut"

right click on the new shortcut and choose properties.

in target add -windowed
