This game is going to kick ass!!! It's Official Name seems to be "Mario Power Tennis". The release date is Nov. 8th!!! You can get lots of information from the following sites:
A) Gamestop.com
B) Gamefaqs.com
C) Gamespot.com
D) ign.com

Definately Confirmed Characters:
1) Mario
2) Yoshi
3) Luigi
4) Boo
5) Paratroopa
6) Bowser
7) Peach
8) Waluigi
9) Wario
10) Shyguy
11) DK

In this game, each character has a special ability they can use during a match, using the "X" button. For example, Mario has a large hammer with which he can spike the ball at opponents. However, you can also play a normal match without using special moves/abilities. Look Here (http://cube.ign.com/articles/544/544190p4.html) for more information on such.

Awesome Screen shots can be found here (http://jeux-france.com/news6181.html) (although the website itself seems to be in French)

Courts:
*There are special courts where obstacles take part in the game, for example:
A) DK Jungle Court: Clap Traps (lil' crocadile sorta things) climb all over the net & if you knock one off with the ball, it falls onto the opponents side & can grab hold of their legs to slow them down
B) Luigi's Mansion Court is full of ghosts that distract you & can also effect the game by tossing banana peels onto the court & doing other likely mischievious acts.
C) Peach's Stadium: Seems like a typical court with great graphics & a lively crowd, but nothing special about the court itself which makes for great standard gameplay.
D) Classic Court: A court with 2D graphics in the background & 2D enemies that likely slow you down upon hitting them (such as koopas from original Super Mario Bros.) A "Pow" block (like in SMB2) lies above the net and i betcha that is used to rid of all enemies walking among the court.

So...Who's SUPER EXCITED about MARIO TENNIS!

eh, it all started with the Virtua Boy game(and with the system being a flop, well, it was the N64 version that really started the series)
