can someone tell me where that blasted sword is!?

The sword is in a cave that you have to bomb open. You buy a bomb pack in a shop with the money that the one guy gives you at the beginning. Then you use the rest of the bombs to blow up the little jelly things in the cave, then you can pick up the sword.

Here's something I'm having trouble with. I'm trying to get through the lost woods to get to what I think is the first level. I know the directions, but I'm still stuck because it won't go since some of the directions go off the edge of the map. I presume there's someone out there who's gotten around this?
