I have this completly insane plan that I'd like to start implementing, but I don't quite have all the tools to handle it.
What I want to do is combine elements of NetHack into Zelda. That is, randomly generate a bunch of dungeons, tie them together, and then try and play through it without dying.
I'm confident that I can write a program to generate the dungeons -- figure out what connects where and how, where items are found, and ensure that it was possible to get through the game -- but what I can't do is export that into a qst file. I can't do that because I have no idea what the format of a .qst file is. Is that documented somewhere? Can it be made avalible to fans with mad plans?
Thanks,
Casey
