Stuck in Level 9 of Eckland

Can anyone tell me how to get to the Snowy Mountain. I have gotten the yellow ring and have everything else. I keep getting into some red area and when I go anywhere I can see some white dungeons but I am at the top and cannot get down into them. I have to do a save to get out of that area.

You enter Level 9 by use of a warp in a room in the Northwestern part of level 9. I think it is the 2nd room from the top in the western most column of rooms.

- - If I remember correctly you access the NW portion of the level through a stairwell in the Southeastern portion of the level. You have to clear the room of about 10 of those enemies that twirl for about forever and can only be killed when they stop. Slay all of them and the stairs will reveal themselves. The room is on the bottom row in the 2nd east most column.
