I Can't Pick Up Item I Put Or Get The Item When I Test My Quest. Whats wrong?

Please be more specific. How did you place the item? Did you place the item marker that designates where onscreen it is? Maybe you want to trigger a secret to get the item but didn't select the appropriate screen flag.
