Rewarded for copying too many cds! :)

Last week, i sent in my CD-RW drive, on the way out (iomega 52x24x52), as it had stopped burning at 52x, and was taking much longer (2-3 minutes in some cases) to start burning at all. It had done close to 1000 CD's before it started facing problems, though. Digging up the reciept, i realised it had a month's warranty left, so i sent it in. Today, i recieved a phone call to come pick up my shiny brand new CDRW drive, which completed my 560MB open multisession/close multisession test image in a healthy 2:09. If i get another 1000 out of this one, i'll be ecstatic!

Holy shit! Do you sell them? That's a lot of CD's. If you pay for them in bulk even, that's a fair investment for all the CDR's.

yeah, it is. i get 50 highest quality TDK gold cd-r for about $21AUD, which isnt much at all. I get my DVD-R for a similar price, too.

And no, i dont sell any. Most are copies of things i get, or copies for other people in trades. I've got huge CD wallets loaded with discs

I get the jewel cases for about 25 cents each, but i store most of my own cds inside those giant media wallets that hold 150+

Yeah, I use wallets to store my CDs; at least I can keep track of them, heh :)
