Anyone try this before? Its a little hard to do, but its fun

Me and my friend stayed up for 24 hours playing GT3 A spec for 24 hours straight! He brought over his PS2 and TV. We sat next to each other while we played all night and all day long. With about an hour left, I was laying on my side hurtin to say up any longer. But I did it :)

Give me 10 lbs of coffee, Pop'n 7, 8, 9, 10, and Best Hits, and I'll go for at least 3 days. :bouncy:

I'll beat the entire game of Freelancer (PC Privateer like game.) in a day without stopping, save for bathroom breaks, and the potential for a meal.

No. Actually, I tell you what. I can beat the Original Ultima Underworld FIVE TIMES in a row, within the span of 24 hours. I assure you, it's quite possible. ;) :D

Once my friend and I stayed up for like 18 hours playing Harvest Moon 64. We did like everything. By the time we went to bed we were like in our 7th year and had all the house attachments, a kid, and a wife.

I stay up like that all the time. Just recently, I started playing Dragon Warrior 3 again (for about the 200 billionth time), and I did NOT go to bed until it was finished.

I haven't pulled a 24 gaming session in quite some time, but I have done it. for my 15th birthday, I rented Jet Force Gemini, and stayed up all day, all night, and most of the next day playing it. S.S. Anubis and Space Station are pretty freaky when you can hardly stand up to go to the bathroom. I also played F-Zero GX all night once, but I doubt it was 24 hours. might have been close, though

Right now, I'm just trying to figure out how your parents / friends / relatives even ALLOW you to do such long time gaming. IF I was allowed to do it, I probably would. But I would never get the chance, .. because .. .. <Doesn't want to offend people>

I've yet to spend more than 6 hours straight playing a video game. If you don't consider bathroom breaks of food then it would be 10 hours. I would love to have an all-day game-a-thon at least a few times away at college, but the opportunity has to present itself.

I don't stay up 24 hours in a row. Most people have certain responsibilities that interfere with 24/7 gaming. :p

I spent 20 hours with my friend playing SSB (not Melee).

Greets to Gerudo!

[We've played only 1P+CPU vs. 2P+CPU , 99 stocks. My team won all games (2x Link)]

Closest I ever came to a 24 hour gaming session was on SOCOM, U.S. Navy Seals. Either that or on Mechwarrior 4: Mercinaries. And both were more like 12 hours.

My parents never let me play games for 24 hours. :(

This is a ocmmon occurence at LAN parites. I don't play the same game persay, but I've been known to make it 24+ hours. I usually only go to sleep when everyone else is. Otherwise I would go without.

I will finally have my first LAN party (48h) in three weeks.
I hope they will stay awake!

Many of my 65 levels in EverQuest were obtained after very lengthy (sometimes 36+ hour) Grind-a-thons.

Oh I have had many all nighters in high school. Wether it was a party, LAN party, or research paper I have experience being in a stupor the whole day until you reach all of your obligations, and then collapse for an 18 hour sleep.

It is pretty easy for me to stay up the one night if I have something to do a la games, or research paper. The trouble come around 3:00 pm the next day. One time (the day afer a LAN party) I almost fell asleep standing up!

Now that I am in college, I expect to have many more, but, with my engineering curriculmn, it might be more along the lines of homework. :(

Does anyone else find it easier to stay up and go through a school day than sleep for one to two hours.
