I was figuring with the election coming up and all the political talk floating around it might be interesting to find out what everybody's opinion on government and politics really is. I thought of 2 ways to do this, and I can't decide which is best:
1. Multiple polls each with a single issue and a few choices.
2. One massive poll where you can select multiple options and alot of topics are raised at once.
Then the idea hit me why not make it a poll which poll to do. It seemed ridiculous enough to go with, so I am.

Where's the option for "Shut the fuck up and post it on another board"? Participating in and/or reading a political debate on AGN is almost on par with self-castration (emphasis on almost). If I had to choose though, I'd suggest creating just one poll and containing it to a single thread.

wow Breaker, that was almost civilized and even contained an on topic statement. You're improving.

Why don't we hold a mock presidential election...no comments, just voting in the poll, 2 choices: Bush or Kerry? I think it would be interesting to see who AGN would elect.

I'd vote Nader :)

$10 says AGN would elect Kerry.

I'll take that bet... * Slaps Ten Dollars on the Round Table * I really do think JayeM's idea is an interesting one. We should really try it. :)

I'd vote Nader :)
Heh, the only way to vote for him in IL right now would be through here.

I was thinking much more general than that. Just very general questions about what you think the government should do. Something like:
1. It is the duty of the federal government to provide equal educational opportunities to all children.
2. It is the duty of the state governments to educate their children without undue federal intervention.
3. Education is a luxury for those who can afford it, not a right.

Can I do a write in for Michael Badnarik? That's my position on the matter, if you don't do a poll with "Other" as a third option.

Oh, and three thousand posts.

Why would he put Mike on the poll. He won't win or change anything in any way politically and hence is irrelavent.
