CD Burning Help

I like listening to the songs on Windows Media Player in fast mode, and I would like to burn them in fast mode, is that possible? I wanted to ask before I wasted a CD. I would simply rerecord them but I use headphones instead of the speakers, any ideas on what I should do to get the fast versions burnable? ^^

Fast mode, as in double speed? For double speed songs, I would do something that was pretty labor intensive, in converting them to wave format in winamp (outdisk.DLL) and opening them with sound recorder, saving them at double speed, and running through the mp3 writer i had in winamp (outlame.DLL, i think). If you're just going to burn them, you might not need to reconvert them to mp3.
