Hey AGN long time no see!

I could use some help opening some ports on my router. its for UT2K4 and the ports I need to open are 7777~7779 and 27902. I have a Linksys router and I know how to get into the setup. I just dont know where to enter the info. Do I enter this into "Port Triggering" "Port Range Forwarding" or "UPnP Forwarding" ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: this is the link that gave me the numbers If it matters..

Type 192.168.1.1 into your browser. If you haven't screwed with your password, it should still be ADMIN.

Go into advanced, then port forwarding.

Off to the left there should be a spot to label what the open ports are for, so call it UT2k4 or something. Next, type 7777~7779 into your range. Make sure TCP is checked. Enter the last three digits of your computer's internal IP. Like, mine would be 192.168.1.100. It's not my REAL IP, but it's what the router uses to identify your computer. Check enable and then apply. ^_^

I'm not sure about the 27902 part though.... =(

What Masa said, but if 192.168.1.1 doesn't work try 192.168.0.1. Some routers use that. Like mine.

See related topic: http://www.armageddongames.net/showthread.php?t=81538

Also, you can go to Linksys site and find your product and download a PDF with the manual. We just got a new Linksys router here at our house (a Wireless-G one that's also a 4 port switch so we can have a wireless network :D) and the manual for ours had a section with specific instructions on opening ports for games, etc

Vegeta, when I was having trouble with the ports, the Manual didn't help at all. =( But maybe they've updated it since then. But I remember my dad's friend coming over and showing me how to setup the router. There was no one in hell my mom or dad would remember. -_-'

Port Range Forwarding is your best bet.

It might be good for me to bring this to your attention, even though you have your server running. Seems mine wont be running any time soon...
