poison ivy remedies

Ive got a whole bunch all over me because I went camping the other day, the doctor gave me some pills and some lotion stuff but it doesnt seem to be helping much. anyone know how to make it go away faster/stop itching? its driving me crazy

Did you read my recent thread in this forum concerning my recent rash? Well, it's more about side-effects of medicine, but I think I have/had poision ivy on my right arm.

sometimes when you walk around in the woods you brush against the plant. I was probably touching it for less than 2 seconds.

im using both things the doctor gave me, I just wanted to know if anyone knew anything that would help faster or something.
