Soon I will be importing the lost levels for gba, from Japan. Then I will only need 2 more gba 2d mario games, excluding mario vs donkey kong. My question, why does everyone think the lost levels are hard?

They aren't extraordinarily easy. It might be because we're not use to them. I'm not sure, but I do remember that the lost levels were harder. The designers might have not put those levels in because they didn't flow with the level of difficulty as the game progressed.

They are a bit challenging, but not impossible.

I played the lost levels on Super Mario Bros DX for the GBC.

It was pretty challenging. They removed the wind in the GBC version though, so that probably made some of the long jumps a little easier. I knew about the backwards warp zones when I was playing, so I didn't go down any pipes I didn't have to (so I had to play through every stage). Despite all my work, I was kind of dissapointed that World 9 wasn't in the GBC version :(

I also had the lost levels on Super Mario All-Stars, but I never played it on there.
