Best SNES 2-Player Game

I'm looking for some good 2-player games for the SNES to play with some friends of mine. I can remember a few, like Wild Guns or Street Fighter. What were you favorite SNES games to play with a friend?

Yeah, Street Fighter was a blast. Secret of Mana was fun as well. Of course, no other 16-bit console game can come anywhere near the fun of a four-player game of Bomberman.

Uniracers because its so easy.
Super Mario All*Stars. I don't know why but I always like playing 2-player Mario 3.
Mario Kart. The original is still one of the best.
Any of the Donkey Kong Country games.

Like others have said, Mario Kart is a must have. They have yet to make a new Mario Kart whose battle mode is more fun to play than the original.

Secret of Mana is really fun to play with two players. It's one of the few multiplayer RPGs out there. Sadly though, it's a bit hard to find today and may cost you a good bit of money since it is very sought after.

Well lately, Glenn and I have been playing Seiken Densetsu 3. Which I believe is the sequel to Secret of Mana. Lots of fun. So far, this is my favorite in the series.

I tried to do multiplayer on Secret of Mana... I had no clue how to get it to work :( anyone know when it's activated or works or whatever?

My friend and I tried doing that with ZSNES once, but we only had dial-up then :( I bet it would work much better now...I definitely have to do that when I get home, cause my friend is a huge Mana fan.

Ooh, how could I forget Mortal Kombat II? Thanks Mottzilla. Great game. I'm glad Nintendo put real blood in that game, the original Mortal Kombat on the SNES, despite it's smoother graphics, wasn't nearly as fun as the Genesis version with it's blood (code).

You don't have to buy a cartridge to play against someone. All you need is the ROM and ZSNESW with at least the May 8th WIP (some netsplit glitches were corrected with this version). Follow the instructions in the netplay readme that comes with the emu.

However as we've found, not ALL netsplit glitches were fixed. =(

And yea, Mottz loves nothing more than to hand me my own ass in MK II. -_-'
