error message when loading quests

When i try to load a quest i get an error message saying Error: Invalid quest file.
They are quests i've downloaded from the quest database. Any help would be appreciated. :)

to load a custom quest, put it in the folder with ZC.

open zelda
register a name
press enter
press Alt
press Alt again
browse for the quest.
press ok
press enter.
play the game.

what quest is it you're trying to play?

What version of Zelda Classic do you have?

where did you download the quest, and who made it?

have you tried other custom quests and had the same thing happen?

are the quests made for the version you are trying to play them on?

for example are you trying to play a 192-183 quest on a 190 player?

do you have an ag.cfg file in the folder?
If not open zquest-w.exe and play a midi, then close it and try zelda-w.exe again

Yeah I had a 190 player. I got the 192-184 and it all works now. Thanks for the help Freedom :)
