Lag problem

Before you think that I'm a newb. Your wrong. I've used ZC for 3 years. But. I stoped using it for two months when I got WinXP. Now I redownloaded it and Im having a problem. When going between screens on the game, it seems to lag. I got the new beta, not the player-only one. any suggestions to fix? :eyebrow:

Maybe you need to close a few programs... And if you are using a laptop, if you adjust the volume or brightness in-game, it tends to slow it down a bit. (At least for me... :rolleyes: )
