I have installed ZC192B183, and have been working on a custom quest. When I tried to load and test it, I got the following message: Error: Not a Custom Quest.
So I tried to load any of the other quests in the same directory and the only one that DOES NOT give me the same error is the 182test.qst, I can load that one. What am I doing wrong? I'm using Windows XP Pro, and using the -w programs which seem to be working well other than this problem. Please HELP :odd:

Go into ZQuest and load your quest. Go to Quest->Header. The Quest Number should be set to 0. That should do it. ;)

this may be off topic but since it has to do with custom quests... is there any way to program my quest to load by typing in a certain name? for example 2nd.qst loads with "zelda" as the name and 3rd loads with "alpha"

That much is hard-coded into ZC. The only way to do this would be to name your quest 2nd.qst and change the quest number in the header to 2. It would then load if you entered "Zelda" as your name. I think. I've never tried it myself, though. (If you did this, it wouldn't load as a custom quest).
And this belongs in ZC Quest Ediotr Help. Moving.
