I am having problems playing ZC in WIN XP. I always get a message that Zelda.exe has caused an error and I can't play it. It doesn't matter which version I use. Any suggestions. Thanks. :)

Does it say something about memory not being able to be read? If so, that happened to me when I renamed a quest file. Very bizzare

make sure you're a computer admin, else it won't work. it's very important

ZC is designed not to crash on missing quests. :O What version of ZC are you using?

I have similar experiences when trying to run ZC, but when I open it through a shortcut in windowed mode, it runs. However, the program frequently experiences dramatic slow-downs that make it almost unplayable. Does anyone know how to stop it from doing this? I am running ZC 184 windowed on Win XP.

I'm having trouble running Zelda-w.exe in Windows XP.

All I did was download v1.92b184 and unzip it do a directory, then click on Zelda-w.exe. The window starts to come up, then it goes away and I get the error 'Unhandled Win32 Exception' has occured in zelda-w.exe.

open the zquest-w.exe first and play a midi, it will write you an ag.cfg file, the program won't run until it has all of it's files.
