I have WinXP and 5 desktops. Is it possible to get Spybot to scan all of them at the same time? I keep having to go to each one seperately. I got Ad-Aware to do them all at once.

Thanks!

I'm probably asking a weird question but what do "desktops" have to do with it? Do you mean drives? If not can't you just scan the c drive and it gets all the desktops as well like it would with other Windows's?

I'm guessing u mean accounts. Just scan all drives. Each desktop has to run on a same drive.

Yes, accounts, sorry. They are all on the C drive but I dunno how to tell Spybit to scan the entire drive like I can get Ad-aware to. It only scans the desktop/account I'm on.

Maybe run it as administrator?

Yep I do, I'm an admin.

If you run it, and all the files are on the C: drive, they should all be scanned.

I'm fairly certain that if you run it it scans everything, but it could be that different accounts have different startup lists... I think the only solution if running as admin doesn't fix it is to run as another account. However, I can't see that it would be needed.

Maybe if SpybotS&D sees those other computers on your network and thinks its part of that one computer (like another internal drive) it will scan them all? Just a thought. I'm not really familiar with Spybot. I was going to try it, but decided to stick with Adaware since I'd already used it and it did the job I wanted.
