I'm tired of looking at the somewhat right and ugly desktop themes that Windows XP comes with, and I wanted to create my own custom theme to use(use all my own pictures for it, not just download a theme file that is already made). I am having trouble finding a good program to do this. I hate shareware, trials, demos, or whatever because of adware and nag screens, so i'm not about to download WindowBlinds. Is there is a completely free program that can change the look of the entire Win XP GUI like WindowBlinds can?

I've tried numerous searches, and all I get are premade desktop themes or shareware and demos. Here's some of the searches I've tried: (- means that word can't be anywhere in the title or on the page)

freeware xp desktop theme maker -shareware -demo -trial -buy -price
freeware xp desktop theme maker -shareware -demo -trial -register -purchase
freeware xp desktop theme creator -shareware -demo -trial -buy -price
freeware xp desktop theme creator -shareware -demo -trial -register -purchase
free windows xp desktop theme maker

EDIT: Trying: freeware windows xp gui customizer -windowblinds -shareware -demo -trial -register
no luck with that one either.

Google (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=uxtheme.dll&btnG=Google+Search) with better terms.

Is that going to give me a complete interface for allowing mw to create a completely custom skin using my own .bmp files, or is that just to use premade skins only?
EDIT: applied the right patch for that file, but nothing changed at all as far as i know. i still dont see an interface for making a totally custom skin or anything.

EDIT2: Premade themes work, but that's not exactly what i wanted, and now i have to remove all the spyware i ended up getting from downloading a premade one off of themexp.org to see if it worked. I want to create all the colors, pictures, etc by hand and use those instead of premade themes.

The only way you would be able to get software that creates themes would be to pirate it. However I cannot post links on the board because it does not support pirated software or illegal activities. You can download trials of software such as Stylebuilder (http://www.tgtsoft.com/) or WindowBlinds (http://www.windowblinds.net/). The majority of the people I know use StyleXP.

Looks like I'm stuck with the disgusting Win98 style green and brown theme I made earlier with what very very limited tools windows gives you, which are still no good.
