Palm Pilots

Anyone know how to use a palm pilot? specifically, how do u "synchronize"? (in case it helps, i have a Zire31 model palm pilot from PalmOne) I don't know how to synchronize it using the USB cable to my computer.

Also, what do you put in the "server" and "user name" entries in the network preferences menu & does it matter when synchronizing.

Easy. I've got a Tungsten E myself, and they are definately a real PDA :P.

Connect it to your computer via USB/Cradle.
Install the Palm Desktop software onto your PC
Use the hotsync button (the star on your graffiti pad), or if that has been rebound, the Hotsync program in the launcher, and you're done!

i did all that, goki, but it says something like good not connect with computer or something...what am i doing wrong?

Could be a number of things. Any other USB deviced worked before? If not, your USB drivers may not be installed. Could be a faulty cable, or a number of other things.
