I just recieved this after winning it off Ebay. It says the drivers are pre-installed in XP and Mac-OS but I dunno what they are and I can't use the floppy disk because it doesn't say how to get there, and I need to do something because the controller doesn't work by itself, can anyone help me out please? I've been dying for one of these! Thanks! :)

It links your PS2 controller to it and then you link it to your USB port so you can use your controller for computer games.

I doubt Windows XP or Mac OS X would have built in support for such a converter. Do you know what brand the converter is? If you have that plus the exact name of the item, most likely you can find a driver on the manufacturer's site.

This is the auction I won (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8104982908) and I'm not sure what brand it is (though the logo on the box says BOOM with a flame to the left) I'm not sure if they have a site but it says in that summary, the drivers are pre-installed in XP and MacOS...

The Drivers would NOT come pre-installed on XP. That I know of for sure. (Having somthing very similar to that) I would try typing the Converter's name into Google and seeing if you can find a link.. or use Mott's drivers

Lik-Sang.com's page for the item you won: http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=55&products_id=93&

People have posted reviews on that page, and they say it works out of the box with XP  Check the Internet Links and Downloads section though, they have drivers there if you're still having trouble.

Create a folder on your desktop and extract all the files to that folder. Once extracted open then find Monster.inf. Right click it and select install and let it do its stuff
