Hey everyone. This is my 1000th post :) so I thought I'd make a little celebretory thread. I joined on March 4, 2004 after breaking my leg on March 1st. This is my 79th day here at AGN with an average of 12.31 posts per day.
Despite what it looks like, I do have a social life. I work at a deli, I hang out with my firends, I go snowboarding in the winter and I go sailing in the summer.

There have been a lot of people who have made an impact on me, so I'm not going to try to list them. I'll just say thanks, you guys are cool!

My history on AGN actually began sometime around 2002, I'm not quite sure of the dates. I used to look in a lot, mostly in the ZC forums because I worked with ZC a lot at the time, but never finished a quest. Some things that stick in my mind about then would be: The Knight's Templar, Ask A Dominatrix, Open Zelda, and Galaga Advanced.

I am surprised that I didn't join earlier. I guess I just eventually forgot about AGN until I was injured last March and had nothing to do, so I decided to check out the boards. I finally decided to sign up, and here I am!

Obviously, so many things have happened between when I found this site and when I signed up. So could someone give me a recap of the major things that have happened?

Heh. Congrats, SixTen. I had a history very similar to your own, actually, except I had to ask a question, not wait for my broken leg to heal. :p

So congrats on your impressive posting record. You're now a minor legend, akin to Zaggarum, who is mildly jealous of The Silent Assassin. Congrats once more.

Hmm... I joined in march... I work in a deli.... Sounds an awful lot like a case of identity theft!

Congrats on the post count, 610. I mean, I've got lots of posts on plenty of forums, but 1k in 79 days, that's crazy.

A month!¿ That's insane. Are they still here? Who was it?

That would be The Geepster. He had a time between having a custom avatar and havning a custom title. You can't (couldn't?) have a custom title until 90 days and 1000 posts. Avatar after 1000 posts, regardless of days.

Didn't TSA allegedly rack up 1,000 in a couple of weeks after the Great Pruning?

EDIT: Whoa, turns out it was 3 days: http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showpost.php?p=700731&postcount=104

Good job! I've been here since last December and I'm only slightly over 400 posts.

Congrats. That is a really short time. I don't know how long it took me to get to 1K, but it was within all of the duking it out that was going on between me and some other members like Darth Cronic and Breaker. Anyhow, congratulations on that.

Yeah I remember all that stuff - Galaga, KTC, Open Zelda....I was a member of the KTC. It was a fun time. :D

I remember when my post per day was up to around 9. Now it's ~4 because skipping a year tends to affect freguency. I got 1000 with a respectable time I believe. I remember not getting a custom avator until quite a few posts after.

I think I'm the slowest poster that is still active.

I posted a 1000 posts before 90 days... about 3 weeks before that time. And no one mentions me...

EDIT: Congrats on yer 1000 posts by the way. Hope you have more in the future. :kawaii:

Skidphyzz, I believe I've got you beat with a quarter of a post per day. Anyway the great pruning was a time when the boards were getting so clogged up with posts that had been made the people who ran the board at the time, or it could have been just War Lord I cant remember exactly, pruned away alot of the older posts. As a result several members post counts went way way down, and they whined about it untill they got their post counts bumped back up.
