Online or Offline?

I know that there is a little icon that lights up when a user is online, and dims when they are offline. But what if there was a separate string of text that the user could set that would only be displayed while they are online? I think it sounds cool. There could be a separate option for online string, or offline string (if we were to add an string for being offline as well). I don't think it would be all that much harder to program than what is in place now.

Anyone else think it's a good idea?

That sounds good too. So we don't have constantly changing strings cluttering up the post bits. Keeping it to the custom title is a good idea.

If your talking about changing the icon of the on;ine/offline status box then I think it would be kind of a great idea but wouldn't some be confused?

What is the purpose of having a light that tells you if a user is online? It's just cool, that's all.
