Me and my friend enjoying this old sega game. It has bad graphics but an awesome battle system, and is beatable in about 8 hours. (proven fact)

Has anyone else heard of or played this game?

I've never heard of it what's it like.

Its like you start out with 2 people and work your way through the levels and along the way you can get little statues of other characters and if you make it to the exit with them you get them the next level.
