View Full Version : New Beta Manager Needed

I am going to humbly ask that a new beta manager take over with what I started, getting a buglist together for Zelda Classic. I have realized the need to move toward a more real life, and it took two weeks of "free time" for me to come to this understanding. I would respect that a unanimous decision be made on behalf of one member and they carry forward with completing the list. That being said, here is the list so far.

1| (http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showpost.php?p=923028&postcount=1) Contrary to intended behaviour, the Peahats move in a straight line, and don't really turn unless they hit a corner.

2| (http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showpost.php?p=923058&postcount=1) Contrary to intended behaviour, a vire, when hit from the north or south, while moving east or west, splits instantly, rather than flying back to the wall as would any “flying back” enemy.

3| (http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showpost.php?p=923298&postcount=1) Cant undo in rooms 80 and after.

4| (http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showpost.php?p=923271&postcount=1) The head of the hookshot gets pulled too close to link after using. It needs to quit coming about 8 pixels before hitting link's tile.

5| (http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showpost.php?p=923108&postcount=1) This one's purely cosmetic. If you have Link go into a Cave2 and the destination of the tile warp takes him to another Cave2, when Link comes out the second Cave2, he walks backwards (goes downwards while still facing upwards).

6| (http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showpost.php?p=923069&postcount=1) Like the Zoras before it, the trigger enemy needs a spot of free space to spawn on, or it won't show up.

7| (http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showpost.php?p=923812&postcount=1) If the fire boomerang is selected and it is removed via the cheat menu, you will throw the master sword instead, with a power level of 0.

8| (http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showpost.php?p=923823&postcount=1) Enemies sometimes do not slide properly.

As much as I would absolutely love the opportunity, the job is not for me. I'm barely managing my mod position in ASWGL. It would be fun, and look good in the future, but it's just not worth it now.

I'm good at testing, but if you ask me to compile a list of things from other posts, I really can't do that kind of thing so count me out of being the beta manager. :)

Well, Cronic is sorta back, and I thought Cloral had been selected as 3rd in line...

That's what I thought too. But if that isn't the case, I'd consider it.:) Compiling bugs isn't that bad.:p

Not enough hours in the day for me. Testing is already a strech with my time. I think Cronic could take over once again. Maybe just give him an assistant or something.

Well, there's one thing that's relatively apparent... Cloral's mass copying of the bugs into the bug forum implies a lot of time on his hands, and utter devotion.

* High Five's Cloral and nominates him. *

Cronic never had his spot as manager revoked, as far as I know, so naturally all of this should be his call; if he feels the need for a second manager, the natural choice is Cloral.

I definitly feel the need for Cloral's help ...as it stands I've had my PC stolen, and am in the process of building a new one ...my network settings are somehow screwed so I can surf only for about 10 minutes with each restart ...spo until i can get a handle on that I'll be here, but not of much use :-/

I have been around at AGN since 2000, I wouldn't mind doing it. let me have the job...
