Help with PS2 thingys!

:( My PS2 quit reading DVDs and silver bottom discs so I cleaned the laser and that didnt work so i adjusted the voltage towards the DVD part of the laser and then the disc drive wont spin and the CD just sits there. Can anyone tell me what to do because i dont have the money to get another one and the warranty sticker is gone. :(

That's the biggest run-on sentence I've seen in awhile. And I think you're screwed. You'll probably have to eitehr pay to fix it or pay to get a new one.

lol I didn't know I had a run-on sentence,sorry bout that. But anyways I called sony's 1-800 # and they said to turn on the diagnosis and if that didnt work i have to send in $120 just to get it fixed. Now I've heard of links of guides to help fix this. If any one knows any please post them.
