Defense of the Ancients (DOTA) is a game that was made using Warcraft III's world editor and is played on Battle.net as a custom game. It's an extremely popular strategy game where you take control of one hero and try to destroy your enemy's base, with the help of minions that spawn from certain buildings (if you kill your enemies' spawn buildings, no spawns). There's more to it of course, but that's just a general idea.
