Ok. To all you Mac users out there:

Does anyone know of a PS2 emulator for the mac.
(And no-one post anything like, 'There aren't any, get a PC!')

um, I think this sort of thing is against the rules, but, just as long as no links are posted, I guess it would be ok? anyway, I don't know of any PS2 emulators period, so I wouldn't know

I belive posting links to ROMs are against the rules, but emulators are fine. But I don't think there are any working PS2 emulators out there. I ran a search on PS2 emus, and several results were other boards asking for the same thing

zophar.net

if it exists at all, they probably have it.

and btw, the rule is no ROMs... i believe emulators are fair game so long as no commercial ROMs are provided.

Yeah, I'm not asking for ROM's. I only wanna play the games I have on my laptop. I thought I heard about one that was being developed, but no releases.

Correct.

This site is a pretty good place for emulators: http://www.emulator-zone.com/ Sadly most (if not all) that are listed are for Windows, but some like ZSNES, Snes9x, and Visualboy Advance are available for other systems too, even if it doesn't say so on this page.

Last I checked, there were no fully working PS2 emulators around (all of the ones I have seen only play demos).

Wrong. There is a PS2 emu in development that plays Street Fighter EX 3 and other games. It's for windows though if I recall. PCSX2 I think it is. And there are others. But nothing is on the level of playability as such with EPSXE or ZSNES.
