Ever have this WC3:Expansion Install Problem?

Darnit. I need image hosting for this.. this 91 KB GIF won't upload.

Anyway, I've got this -WEIRD- problem. O_O I installed WC3, worked fine. Then, 3/5ths through the installation of Frozen Throne from the WC3 Battle Chest, this weird error appeared.


This application has encountered a critical error:

ERROR #131 (0x85100083)
Program: C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\War3_INSTALL.EXE
File: Files100\War3x.mpq


Yep, so that's the error. It also messes up my entire WC3 game too. Files all out of order, etc. Doesn't work anymore. 3-4 installations / uninstalls later, here I am.

I've had something like this happen to me when a game CD is scratched (usually an old copy of a game). But something is very wrong if your copy is new.

Argh. >_< Battle.net. Sorry, I don't have internet access on my AMD 1800, which is the only PC capable of handling WC3.... unless... naw. Couldn't do it. Thanks anyway though. I'm really just focusing on the campaigns, and building my own (event-driven) maps. ... *drools at events*
