Very cool. Chrono Trigger beat Final Fantasy VII, just barely, but still :D

They have some tough match ups there. I can't wait to see who wins in the Quake vs Duke Nukem match. Also they have Goldeneye 007 vs Halo, and Metroid Prime vs Super Metroid!!! Hopefully the voters have experienced the perfection that is Super Metroid...then again, Metroid Prime is pretty damn good too. I think Metroid's transistion into 3D went better than Zelda's and Mario's.

People who have played Super Metroid would definately vote for it instead of Prime.

Who thought this crap fest up? There are so many mismatches in there, it's arousing.
I think it's more of an insult to the complete revival of the gaming era than a fun poke(as we all know, Prime's gonna beat Super:p).

Its still fun to look at for some of us at least :tongue: . I thought the idea was kinda neat. Sure there are a few strange and unfair matchups but nobody is perfect.

I personaly thought mike tysons punchout vs madden 2003 football (1st or 2nd bracket I believe) was pretty unfair... we all know how much mike tyson > madden :laughing: .

Check out GameFaqs. They have a much better poll than this one, and the categories are better, too.(Chrono Trigger isn't in Misc.)

That's right. GameFAQs is having a much better contest with loads of more voters (Gamespy 10.000, GFAQs almost 200.000!)

Gamefaqs actual poll isn't going on yet though... so this is all we got.

Its sad that goldeneye is losing to halo right now :( . Its not super punchout either, the regular mike tysons punchout for the NES.

Meh, i'll wait for the gameFaqs one. It has a much larger polling sample, so it is a bit more accurate. Plus, I hate Gamespy -_-
