The Foundation Series

I've just finished the seven Issac Asimov novels in the Foundation series (A fantastic read, if you havn't,) and I'm wondering if there are other, non-Asimov books that continue this story. I'm aware of The Second Foundation trilogy, but I've heard it's basically garbage and I'm not tempted to read it. Even so, more would be nice...
