Hope these aren't too bad! I'll keep updating this thread with posts of new screenshots when progress is made.

Too bad but I see only a red x instead of screenshots. Hope you fix it so that I can see what you done so far.

really? it shows up perfectly for me. How should i go about posting the pics? This is the first time i've ever posted screenshots in a thread before. What i did was put them in a directory at geocities.com then i entered in the codes in the thread like and and put the http address in btwn them--is that not right?

Geocities, eh? Did you put http://invis.free.anonymizer.com in front of the address? (I think that's right...I usually just link to my site.)

If you copy the image address into your address bar, they show up fine. Since the images weren't showing up at all in my browser, here they are listed for everyone else.

Well, i still don't understand why they do not appear to everyone else in these forums when they show up perfectly for my own, but thanks for posting the links. Although its somewhat a lil less convenient & you can't have all pics together but its fine for now i suppose, at least till i figure out what's wrong

You can't see them by pressing the link you have to copy paste the adress to see them

First one to review the shots

Screen 1: The red tufts of grass with the brown ground hurts me eyes. Otherwise, it's fine.
Screen 2: Functional, not a SSOTW but I don't care.
Screen 3: A little empty...and the red tree looks like it goes through the castle. :odd:
Screen 4: Hmm...the floodfill grass tufts are bad. Use more variety. Plus, the house looks like it's outlined in purple.
Screen 5: Great.
Screen 6: Even better.

How far are you in this quest? It looks pretty solid. :)

EDIT: Bah. Any smilie that starts with a "p" ends up like this. :p Imagine that there's a pirate smilie after "...hurts me eyes."

same graphics you see in a million other screenies and used the same way.

Looks like all the bad pictures are first and the good pictures last. =\

Well, I was expecting more from a guy who is very experienced with ZQuest and who seems to have pretty high standards, but according to those screenshots the quest looks like a quite solid "everyday quest"... meaning that there's nothing impressive or interesting in the screenies but they're not that bad either.

Actually, I feel the exact same way. The last show, looks VERY cool. The purple church.. does not. :eyebrow:

Anyway, I'm sure it'll be fine when it comes out. ;) I may even play it. :p

hehe..jk! Well, sorta--i agree, perhaps with some of what ya'll said. For example, the purple church might be better if a different color. And I too like the last screen shot the most!

yea, the last screenshot is sharp, those red walls really set it off.

I dunno. Some of it looks good, the rest of it loooks pretty crappy. No offense.

For example, the second and last shots look superb. But... well, that sanctuary doesn't look so great...

Maybe a little more work, and those shots will look great. ;)
