View Full Version : Good tile ripper?

OK, I guess I'm just looking to get b& today, but this has nothing to do with a ROM hunt. I'm looking to play around with making some avatars and little images for fun out of old VG sprites. I could take screenshots of my games and cut the tiles out of that, but that's the hard way. I want a tile ripper, but I don't know where to get a good one. NES sprites are my primary concern, but an SNES one would be awesome, too. Any suggestions?

Romview works pretty well. I THINK you can get it from Zophar's domain, which I THINK is actually entirely legal... so www.zophar.net SHOULD be able to help.

oh, Tile Layer Pro is good too. you can see tiles in any game except 3D ones and GBA games

Yeah, I saw that and tried it recently and it is pretty good. You need a Java console installed to run it tho (which I already had anyways)
