This quest is going to be pretty simple. Not many cutscenes.I don't want to bore people to death.I will simply have a title screen, an opening story, and an ending.(And perhaps a few showing a bridge being built or something.) I do however, aim to make a few custom bosses, but nothing that would be out of place in a Zelda game.

The story is as follows:

It is between the periods of Zelda 1 and Zelda 2.

Link has saved Hyrule from the clutches of Ganon, and the people are rebuilding. However, something has caught the attention of the denizens of Hyrule. An outbreak of monsters is tearing through the area near Kasuto. Calling upon their greatest hero to investigate, the people of Hyrule must count on Link to, once again, save the day.

Here are some screenshots showcasing the dungeon tiles and skinny-ish trees I've made the quest. Note that these are not actually places in the quest, these are just examples of what you might see.

Pretty soon I'll post some more screenshots, showing the village tiles I've been working on as well as the Palace entry tiles.

(And to explain... There are two types of dungeons in this quest. Normal dungeons, and palaces. Palaces are much bigger and much more grandiose.)

Wow, it looks really cool. I love the tiles, and the "old skool, while still looking badass" style of the dungeon tiles. :P

Shouldn't a better title be "The Legend of Zelda: The Attack of the Red X?" That's the focal point of your screenshot...

Um, yeah. It's broken.

Thats odd. It's on a perfectly functional, website, thats not a free one like Geocities. It should work. Try clicking the link below the picture.

Ok, now it's working. :eyebrow:
Anyway, looks very nice. The water and sand colors mesh very well.

Nice start. This is something I'd like to see finished.

I cant take credit for the Wind Waker Link tiles, Warlock made them . Plus, theyre just place holders. (youdontknow much, do you? =P ) however, every other tile not already in the Pure set, as well as the pallete, I can take credit for.

As for when Im releasing the tiles, it depends. Im debating with myself over whether I should make a quest or a tileset. But this quest stands... errr... announced!

(Oh yeah, I forgot, I can also take credit for the mountains without side bars. I CONTRIBUTED them to the Pure set)
