One-screen MIDI

Is there an option to use a different MIDI for one screen of a (D)map or do I have to do the trick involving the sidewarps and tricking it into thinking it's the same map. (I don't like the fact that if you die while fighting the boss, the wrong music is playing when you restart the original Dmap.

Unfortunately, MIDIs are a Dmap-wide attribute. So you have to warp to another one to change the midi (unless you're fighting Ganon then it uses the last MIDI in the list, but that's a special case).
