A ref at Twingalaxies is running his own bounty competition for game records on select games, with about $3,000 given from his own pocket to winners.

I've tried Whale Bay on Diddy Kong Racing and the lowest I've gotten is about 4 second and 45mil/sec away. The hard part is you have to collect up to 10 bananas to reach higher speeds while you race. The technique Nintendo and Rare released years after the game was out might be needed to get under 55seconds.

I just got done reading this article before I came here (found the link on Fark (http://www.fark.com)). About halfway down the page is a link to another interesting article... apparently our dearly departed friend TSA now holds the all-time fastest LTTP completion time in addition to his Ocarina of Time record.

(I don't seem to recall him showing up here to brag about it so I figured I'd post it.)

He hold the record for every Zelda game I believe (except a couple he hasn't submitted yet I think - but no one else has submitted stuff for them either)

I read some things TSA posted at his own ZHQ forums, I think someone may have beaten his LTTP and LoZ records since that article was posted at twingalaxies. I don't know whether that's true anymore  He needs a life though, seriously. After reading his posts on the ZHQ forums, it really sounds like that's all he does.

That is pretty cool that they have those "bounties" where people can win cash prizes. I wish I were that good at a particular game.

UPDATE: According to TSA's Legend of Zelda world records post on his ZHQ forums, he still holds all the records: http://www.zhq2.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=24&t=742 Someone needs to tell him that Game and Watch Zelda is unlockable in the G&W Gallery 4, not G&W Gallery 3!
