I downloaded the Ringtone converter from the Vtech website. I'm trying to put Zelda's Lullaby as a ringtone but when the converter plays it it gets all the notes wrong and butchers the tune. I did put it on Flute so it would sound like the Ocarina but it's still Tonedeaf and I can't download the manual. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I would assume that only MIDIs that consist of beeps (I don't know the actual name for them at the moment, mode 1 perhaps?) and not instruments will work with the phone. Try one of those, instead.

im sorta familiar with this stuff...
what kinda phone do you have?
are the tones polyphonic (multi channel) or monotonic (single channel)?

The phone is a Vtech Vmix cordless phone and it uses polyphonic ringtones and in the manual it says to go to their site www.vtech-phones.com and get the converter to convert your favorite MIDI file to a ringtone. It doesn't say any specific MIDI.
