Well, I've decided to begin a new quest. Not decided what its called yet. And I will be using classic graphics.

Yes, I said classic. There will be some slight alterations to fit my needs, but I want to use the classic tiles.

I'm basically done with the overworld. Here are some screenshots (yes, the hero has a mullet)

Why do I have the feeling I'm beeing watched?

The caves will almost act as a second overworld, providing you with a tunneling system throughout Hyrule.

Maybe if those shopkeepers wouldn't hide their shops in obscure places in the middle of nowhere.

The snow section of the overworld.

Comments? Suggestions? (Besides changing the graphics. Not a one of you here that can change my mind. Sorry.)

The red palace looks like it's going to hurt to look at.

 Got that right!

And you're doing this in 182, right? ... thought so. Good luck, Tygore. :) I will not comment on the graphics, as you had mentioned. So I will wish you luck in the construction, planning, and drawing of the new items.

The first three screenshots don't look that special. The four one is the best there. It looks fine, I don't mind Classic Graphics, good luck, this looks better then what you have shown me before..;)

As long as you use th eClassic graphics right, it'll look great, and it seems you have. Any chance of telling us the plot?

Classic graphics rule, they give the "classic" if you will, feel to a game. I personally like them, along with FF4 graphics.

I agree. It would be nice if we could have a so-called "Classic Quest Revival" sometime soon. The Classic tileset really brings me back to the good ol' days.

I belive that is it not the graphics that make the game, its the game that make the graphics! :naughty: If you make a good quest the graphics don't matter, the are just a +, so I say: DO THE QUEST, AND MAKE IT GOOD! :D
