I made this game in less than 6 months time. (probably less, wasn't counting) It consists of 8 tourneys where you fight one opponent after another until the tourney is completed or are defeated; 10 challenges that pit you against 6 opponents under extreme circumstances such as 'no items,' etc.; and finally there is a practice mode where you can select the type of opponents and their difficulty level and face off against them.
There are a myriad of battlechips and skills you can acquire from other Net Navis you defeat which further aid you in your quest to become the supreme Net Navi battle champion. If you are having a tough time beating any one Net Navi or tournament, it is most likely you are not utilizing the proper chips at your disposal. Because if all chips were used correctly and at all the right times, this game should be relatively easy. Tip: Buy chips and armor that you need most, sell back anything that isn't needed anymore. There is no sense in carrying about excess baggage.
Here are the game specs for those interested:
This game is run on 2 events, 4 common events. (total!!!!)
346 switches.
64 variables.
510 skills.
129 items.
137 enemies.
515 battle animations.
0 tilesets.
If you want more information, you can read the entire readme file that comes included with the game here: http://dynamic5.gamespy.com/~darkwolf/readme.rtf

And of course, here is the download link to the actual game which is 18 megs total download size: http://www.fileplanet.com/dl.aspx?/planetdescent/darkwolf/megaman.exe

Enjoy everyone!

Note: sorry about the Gamespy link, its the ONLY option I have for big files such as these.

Two events? Wow. I'll check this out eventually, 18 MB is a lot for my slow modem, but it looks nice. ;)

It looks like you made it from RPG Maker 2003 for some reason. I was in the process of making a game and the layout of the Menus look the same. I guess thats why it looks like what I was using.

yes, it was made with rm2k3. Took me a while to figure out how I'd do all the coding for the tourneys. lol

Okay, about a week or so later, after some people have had time to play it a bit: Has anyone found all 9 game discs yet in Megaman Tournament? If so, were they interested in the information they held? Was this idea something that was a good thing to put into the game as a added 'bonus' for those who have done well? What are your thoughts and comments on this easter egg idea? :)

dayum, it only takes me about an hour and a half to beat all 7 tourneys. You guys are either taking way too much time to beat tourney 1 or only gave it a couple minutes of attention. lol

Well lately I have been outlining plans for my quest... But it took me a while to beat the first one since I really didnt have a clue as to what I was doing.. at first.. then It took me no time at all
