Well... I was thinking that maybe Alpha 184 would be something good to release since there won't be a Christmas beta this year (the player alone would be nice).

Despite it being an alpha... it is far more stable than beta 182/183 (it was mostly bug fixes) and I believe people are getting tired of some particularly annoying things in the 182/183 player. :shrug:

That's just me, though.

Seems like a good idea to me. It'd help get people off of 182, which has those debug keys. I can't remember if the quest format was changed in 184... if it was, then the deal with debug keys is especially true.

No, the dungeon items haven't been fixed, or are they not broken in this beta?

BTW, is it okay to give out the 187 player? For some reason I swore I saw somebody give out beta 187 with their quest.

I'm sticking with 183 until the next stable version comes out.

That problem isn't in 184. I don't think it was introduced until 186.

I was telling people that the quest demo I released over the summer was the 187 version, but it was actually just 'ported' to b183. It played on 183.

People will go 'why are you giving us 1 build greater? Isn't DN working?'

Well... it is true they would wonder why they don't have something above 187 instead... but I still think people should at least have something like 184 around. It is the most stable thing out of the 182-184 stuff that has the same quest format. :shrug:

Also, they obviously know DN is working since there are beta reports. :blah:

Oh well. Like I said... this is just my opinion. Maybe things would be better off just leaving things as they are as far as the latest release. I dunno. :shrug:
